So I'm thinking about planning a senior trip. I just want some suggestions on where to go and what to do. I don't want to go to cancun or any really touristy city really. I like adventure and don't wanna drive around a town with a guide looking at stuff. I want to be able to meet new people and experience different lifestyles. +k for helpful answers

i've been thinking about going to japan for spring break next year with some buddies. that's just a thought, although i get it's far away. but definitely fuck going to places like cancun, myrtle beach, etc.

My friend and i are going to germany this summer for our senior trip. Then probably camping and fishing in wyoming which is always a good time.

What are you looking for? Ski trip, or somewhere more tropical? When are you planning it for?

I just want to go out of my comfort zone if that makes sense. Like i thought of going with friends. But I think going on my own and meeting new people might be cool

Rock out hostels to meet people. Travel to a country without really having plans. HAve things you'd like to do and then float. IF you meet people, find new things to check out it's easy as you don't have anything concrete. IF you were only going to stay in one place for a day but meet cool people or find some cliff jumping or feel lazy you can just kick it.

I feel like not making concrete plans has helped me meet a ton of people and kept the adventure in my adventures.

Do a backpacking trip throughout an area of Europe that you've always been wanting to do. Find random places to stay or stay in hostels and just see the world.

If you want adventure South America or Central America is the place to go. Ecuador, Belize, Costa Rica, Chile, Brazil...ect.

There are a few bad apples (countries) you want to avoid but for the most part don't be stupid and you will be fine (also cheaper than Europe).

Also Cancun is a ton of fun for a touristy spot. I've done both Central/South America and Cancun. Both are just different experiences but guaranteed both will be an adventure.
