basically you pay a looot of money to get your picture taken professionally then you get prints and give them out to friends and family. that picture also goes in the yearbook (for my school at least)

I live in canada, and we have the same thing. we have one with the grad gown and the hat and everything, then another one with just whatever you want to wear.

well, lots of the pictures being posted are kids going to professional photographers where you can get like 30 different poses and scenes. generally schools bring in a photographer to take seniors' pictures for the yearbooks and you pay like 300 dollars per print for one or two poses. not everyone gets senior pics.

senior pictures are so expensive. i got the cheapest set the place offered and it was still over a hundred.
