Sell/trade idea

hey guys so ive been on a serach for a nice pair of all mtn ripping skis with decent underfoot and all that good stuff. Ive found this process very hard to sort through all the ads on sell/trade that are mostly used sweat jackets. I would love to see some sorting ability to be able to differentiate by category of what your searching for. So make a section where you can label ypur post like skis(w/binding/without),bindings,boots etc. I really hope to see this site become greater and greater everyday just like the ski community as a whole.
 
It could be like a car website and you can choose the parameters of what specifically you want-- and if posting in b/s/t it requires you to input specific items into the search so people can find exactly what they're looking for
 
Ok, its a good idea, but what about the flip side? Lets say you are looking for a pair of skis and I have a pair of skis on my thread, but I also have massive amounts of jiberish and saga on my thread too because I'm on NS. Would I just click a box when putting up my thread saying I have skis and outerwear? Also what about the occasional dick that just clicks every box to promote his/her thread of one crappy item? I like the idea but some parts of it are faulty just because of natural human douchebaggyness.

Then the post can be reported as inaccurate and can be taken down by mods and/or banned from selling and trading for a certain period of time.

Also you could just add what items are exactly in your thread, and anyone searching for any of the items in your thread will be linked to your thread.

that sounds like a lot of work 4 me

but I think a "tagging" system would work good.

just make a post for a single item, which would be streamlined if implemented which i think would work great. another idea is to have parameters to set like for skis : width, length, flex level and stuff like that just like evo.com or another website like that. it would increase user ability and the likely hood of you selling your stuff on here. also what could be cool is if you guys setup a direct link with paypal so buyers wouldn't feel as skeptical as they are now

That's too specific of a system- if you want that just go on evo.
