Seeking someone with Angle Grinder in Bozeman

I’ve got this idea to mount my skis and an angle grinder is a tool I need for this project. If you’re into thinking outside the box and you wanna help me Please let me know, I’d love to share my idea witcha.

If there's a Harbor Freight in Bozeman you can probably get one of entirely hit or miss quality for ~$10.

Im itching to know how an angle grinder would be required for mounting skis.

My best guess is that you dont have the proper screws and are just planning on using screws that are way to long and grinding off the ends that poke through the base.

Am I right? Or should I keep guessing ????

You got it squid. I’ve been going to ski shops and hardware stores and asking to look thru their collection of screws. I’m gonna drill em all the way thru the base and cut em off so they’re flush with the base. This will insure there’s no way my heel or toe piece will rip out.

Like everyone says your gonna fuck up your skis bad. Try and pregrind them so they dont poke through. You may get a bubbled base but that will atleast stop water from getting in.
