tl;dr
- Skiing Tahoe (Kirkwood, Northstar, Heavenly)
- Ability level 7 into 8.
- 5'11" and 160lbs
- Groomer friendly all-mountain twin tips
- Lots of switch skiing
- Prophets are the front runner, maybe 98s?
- Trying to keep it under $400 sans bindings
Hi NS, glad to be back on these forums. I'm looking for a new all-mountain ski that I anticipate will mostly be used on groomers and light pow. I ski switch a lot so good twin tips are a must. I'd like something that can venture into the park on a whim but it's not the priority. My old skis were LINE 1260s (yes that old). I demoed a pair of Rossignol Smash 7s this last season and enjoyed them. They did seem to take a lot of work to manage on chop though.
