Secondary pair of skis - Reckoner 102 ?

I'm looking to buy my 2nd pair of skis ever, just started skiing last year and having soooo much fun

Im currently riding armada ARW 98s in a 156 but im 5'5" so i think they're a little too short, im looking at the k2 reckoner 102s in a 163 for my second pair. I definitely want a solid all-mountain ski, but not too sure about the sizing/width.

Im a british columbia resort skier that likes to jump and spin (still learning!!) and not sure if i should stick with a wider ski or get something narrower?? or if you have a whole different recommendation that would be appreciated too :)
 
Stoked to hear you're loving skiing! I've got the reckoner 102 which I use as my all-mountain playing around on ski, it's great for messing about on - spinning, butters and soft snow. Sounds like a good option, only thing I'll mention is with a narrower ski (mindbender 89 for example) you can learn technique wayyyy easier. A little less fun short term but it pays off if you want to learn bigger tricks or ski faster down the line
 
Do yourself a favor and buy another brand. The wReckoners will blow up before you hit 10 days with them. BTDT. Never gonna buy a pair of K2's again.
 
^^ my reckoners blew up after 5 days and I was not even hitting rails. The warranty on them is insane and my shop just gave my money back to me, which I then bought something else cause I didn’t want to have to deal with them
 
If you ever want to hit a rail don't get reckoners, myself and many of my homies have had them blow up in like five days.

My friend at *redacted* fucking hates the Reckoner and stocked up on pairs of Marksmen when he heard the Reckoner was basically its replacement.

if you ski somewhat awesome they will break in 7 days been through the 2023’s twice and jus destroyed the 2024’s today warranty’s a blessing from god tho
