Second pair of skis?

Hey;

I ski east side Canada so I got myself some 177 afterbangs since it's rare to find me some pow around here but I have some extra money to get a second pair so I figured i'd get some all mountain/pow skis, maybe rockered i dunno.

Any suggestions?

Preferably pm's but i'll check the thread :P

line blends. there is going to be a kid name kellen aka K_M who says get on3p but don't listen to him. he wants you to lose all your money and they will not get the skis to you until february

get the Salomon 2012, they are rockered park skis, so you can ride pow in them, but because there isn't alot of pow around there you can still ski park perfectly normal in them!

I'd go with the 2011 K2 Kung Fujas (fatter and rockered), 2011 Volkl Bridge (rockered), Rossignol S3 (rockered) or the Line Blend (Fatter, softer, and rockered).

All are around 95-102mm underfoot, all are rockered but still carve great. All can be used equally as well in the park and outside of the park.

best reply so far.

to those of you saying Jah Loves, JJs and other pow skis... those are not very good suggestions. How on earth is a really fat pow ski a good all mountain ski?

I've never skied them, but the Kung Fujas have always perked my interest for an all mountain ski. I recommend those.

The kung fujas sounds like exactly what you are looking for. It is an amazing al mountain ski that will be fun everywhere. Has some nice rocker and is soft in the tip and tail.

oh mah GAWDDD!!!
so many choices :D thanks guys, great community we got goin here, quick response
No one mentioned salomon steeze's?? hmph

go for the bent chetlers: theyre 123 underfoot, one of the closest pow skis to being symmetrical, loads of rocker, and camber underfoot. also early taper's a bonus.

Nordica Zeros

Line Blends

Line Chronic Krypto

K2 Kung Fujas

Rossi S3 or S5

Volkl Bridge

Moment Tahoes

ON3P Jeronimos

Liberty Hazmats (or w/e there called now)

Armada arc sick all mtn ski they arent rockerd but they are nice and stiff with about 95 under foot, they are also made by armada so they are going to be bomb proof they will be perfect for u

I have last years kung fujas as my all mountain ski. Definitely recomended. The 2011s are even fatter. 100 under foot im pretty sure. Cant go wrong. They do it all.

Nobody mentioned Line Sir Francis Bacons? Early rise, tight radius, buttery skis. Fun on groomers and in the deep stuff. Also capable of park skiing.

Would you like to tell us why they are stupid and maybe offer your smarter suggestions, or just post worthless blabber like that instead?

i'll toss this into the mix....you'll want something around 95-110 underfoot make sure the ski has early rise rocker tip and tail and camber underfoot so you can shred the groomers on the way back to lift. i'm rocking an S7 for powder days and it rides the groomers super well. here is a few to check out:

line blends or kungfujas come to my mind...
or if you enjoy fatties, look around and get yourself a pair of line Elizabeths ....
i wouldn't get anything fatter than 110 for EC though ...

I love how many of you are spouting out names of skis that you have never skied but have only read about in magazines.

Because he asked for: "all mountain/pow skis"

Salomon threats? Nordica jah loves? K2 revival? 2012?

Armada JJ? Salomon Czar? bent chetler?

I posted my suggestions already ;)

I guess OP could have been more specific, but some of the suggestions seem retarded to me.

except the bentchetler is way stiffer has camber underfoot and has a tapered tip and tail...
so really..completely different skis.
