Season work

Anybody ever work with any of the big ski holiday companies? I'm talking like crystal, inghams, neilson, mark warner, etc.

Tell me about it, I have interviews with crystal and inghams in the next few weeks and would be interested to hear about anybody's previous experiences with them as employers

Crystal has a reputation for being shit to it's staff, mark warner I've heard constantly praised, not sure about the others. Of course there's going to be exceptions to both cases though.

update: got a job as a hotel assistant with ski total in val d'isere. pretty fucking stoked considering tignes/val d were where i wanted to go most!

when you going? i got a job at precision ski in val this season i start december 11th. worked in tignes last year.

The mark warner hotel in Val D is in a good location like

I work for skiworld every winter, and Neilson every summer. Neilson are def one of the best companies I've ever worked for, and skiworld are extremely good.

i think it opened slowly starting around christmas if i remember correctly. usually theres lots of snow early on the mountain but they need to make tons for the parks! i start work december 11th and will probably come in on the 5th or so. we should meet up!

that sounds good, i'm pretty keen for keeping i pretty mellow for the first few weeks anyway! send some shit of natural hits might be the way forward. yeah man, i'll pm you my Facebook..

If anyone knows of any jobs or other companies to apply for other than the big, obvious ones it would be great if you could recommend them to me. It's pretty hard to find anything this late on. Had a job lined up for this season in Canada up until a month ago when the Canadian gov changed the visa rules. So yeh, now im kinda desperate. Not doing a season would suck!

check out the val disere at tignes seasonnaires pages on facebook that might be a start they have been putting some stuff up lately
