ive gone skiing only 8 times so far. IVe gotten alot better at boxes and rails and started getting 270's off of rails. I am working on perfecting them . The snow is really good for ohio, but bad for everywhere else.

Been pretty good, learned more than i ever learned last year in the 1st month of the season, snow hasnt been the greatest, one big storm and we havent gotten shit since. But i live in the midwest so i dont expect much.

Hope everybody else is having a good season

been sick so far, learned hand drags. so funn hit my head yesterday though.... over shoot on a jump on a rodeo.... icy snow + head = headache.... still even go gopro footy.

Been up at least a dozen days
Realized I forgot how to 180 (previously my best trick)
Been skiing faster and more fluidly. Hit some fun airs and cliffs.
Meeting tons of new people at the hill.
fun, fun!

Beginning of the season was a few days here and there of just all around mountain jibbing at Lake Louise.

Headed to Kicking Horse for the official opening weekend. pretty sweet, early season conditions destroyed my bases (torn out edge, smashed edges).

Went home for break, skied 5 days of amazing powder at Kicking Horse. Some of the best tree skiing I've had in awhile. New terrain was alright, they only opened it so people would pack it down. Knee deep snow here and there, skied with my old friends/crew.

Came back to Calgary Res yesterday, went up and bought a seasons pass (my only one this year, no Kicking Horse pass :( ). Skied park all day for the first time. That is, first time hitting only park, first time skiing COP since I was 9 in my racing days. Overall good impression. Didn't hit the big jumps since I'm not comfortable. Did a lot better on more advance boxes than I thought. Hit and accomplished a wall ride for the first time ever. Need to buy park skis now. Not really the funnest to try and spin big park jumps when all you have is 189 Surface One Lifes.

It's snowing now, and sure enough, the night I leave Golden, Kicking Horse gets about 22cms of fresh. Storm just hit Alberta tonight, rest day tomorrow, then heading to Sunshine Village on Thursday (haven't skied there in 8 years) with a lady friend for some pow pow skiing.

bought my first set of skis this year. Been ebaying like crazy get some new stuff. Getting ready to hit the slopes again next week. 3 mountains in 3 days!!!

well the snow has been amazing! 6 of 8 days have been pow days :)

but i lost my season pass and had to pay for a reprint, then tore an edge off my blends, so i rode some old old line darksides and first day on those i ripped the toe piece binding off. Fell because of that and broke my wrist... major bummer. So some bad luck, but hopefully willl get better

was just about to make a thread about this.

what ive learned:

lip on, first 2 tries i get on then fell on the tube, 3rd try i stomp it, was super stoked!

switch on, stomped first try.

Well here in norway its super cold.

Theirs a alright amount of snow but you cant ski pow anyway because its all super light snow, no base.

Havent learned anything new just done alot of the old tricks trying to get em super style y.

Its been a really good season so far tho. Hope i can ski some real pow soon without ruining my skis.

this year has been awesome so far.....learned front flips, k feds, bs switchup, got 450s back......tried a Lincoln loops.....and got. a 270 on to A flat bar too

First day out this year I learned 270s on, and got my 360s on lock. Since then it's just been trying 270s on different features, throwing in some switch-ups, and afterbangin'.

Found a really nice rail to practice 270s off, gonna hike there a lot next time I get out. Working on buttering 270s, and adding jibs to my backyard.

my season has been pretty good so far, learned back 270s out, 270s on, got 3s back, learned nugget 180's out, hopefully i can learn kfeds and britanys by the end of the season

Been 16 times already so far and learned waaaay more than I did last year. Got hand drag 3s and 5s, switch 3s and 5s, bs switchups, Lincoln loops, backflips, and hucked my first cliff over 30 ft
