Season Goals

Hi NS, what are your goals for the 2023-24 ski season? It'll be a fun discussion, c'mon, join on in.

My two year plan:

This year I want to get 3s on lock and start sliding rails. I'll want to 540 a couple times. And I don't know about flipping, I'm too scared to backflip atm but I might send the frontie (I'll keep you posted (yes I know frontflips are harder)). I am also doing a bunch of IFSA comps, not sure how I'll do especially considering the kids I'm up against, but I am looking forward to that. I'm really trying to push myself this year as this is the last year I'll be doing a seasonal program. This is just part one of my two year plan but we'll see how it goes, hopefully I can stick to it.

What are your goals?

Everyone post your goals then quote yourself with clips!!

I wanna do a layed out backie into deep pow. Will post some clips once the snow falls

i'm trying to dial in rodeo 5's and flat 3's maybe cork 7?, also want to lock in 270s off - all four, learn k-feds and Brittany's

2p2, superfed and backie hopefully i can do the backy but the ohio jumps r limited

Im hoping to get better at rails,

my dad works at a construction company and is gonna try to get me a big ass pvc pipe, which i am gonna set up near my house. Problem is it basically snows Max 5 cm here at a time and rarely so Im probably gonna have to build a lip out of ply wood and gather snow so it lasts a while.

This is gonna be the first year of my life I can’t ski actively… and it’s gonna be like this for at least 6 years. My goal is to just ski as much as possible and have as much fun as possible doing it. Not even going to try to progress.

Backies are pretty much locked but I’d like to play around w them more and do some nice layed out ones/ off natty features, got frontys, clean rodeo 5s w/ japan, flat 3s, zero spins, sw5 and misty 5s on the airbag so I for sure wanna take all of those to snow, learned F2/B2 and 3s at big snow but I still wanna do those on hill. And I feel like learning FS/BS, 2ons, and F4 or B4 is realistic for 1 season.

What are your goals?

-More flat 3s and backies on natty hits

-ski faster and charge harder

-qualify for 4* fwqs

-dub back and dub flat on pow jump

-make more friends (every year)

I want fs back 6 and bs front 6 and both way super Ray charles on rails. Unnatural spins into rails as well but I’ve always been scared of them

on jumps cork 7 / 9 and get cork 3 down

I want to get my spins dialed in for the back country and hopefully before the season starts cut some more trees. Just gotta wait for my broken shoulder to be less broken.

recently found out a kid at school learned how to double backflip on a park jump with no flipping experience prior (even on tramp) in one season. stuff like that makes me wanna grow a pair and start flipping. it's all confidence i know. i just don't have much confidence. maybe ill find it renewed when the season starts.

ngl bro, they’re really easy, just scary.

For some reason I have serious issues with spins on to rails. Not the sending them part, but the locking on part. I just cant figure it out. This being said, nat and unnat 2 along with maybe 4 on to whatever combo out are big goals this season. Id also like to reallllly clean up my jumps and get some nasty grabs on lock for c9, sw c5, bio 7, etc. maybe even get out in the backcountry and throw that dub cork ?‍?

Hell yeah ?

Id say very realistic, just hit rails quickly and hike park a lot and youll get it all

asking the park rats for advice is great too

Hoping to learn dub backs and maybe corks. But mainly just want to dial in my flips and 3s off cliffs n shi.

Switch Quad 2340 would be a light early season trick

You could probably dub 10 first try.
