New Zealand looks sick so I'm coming over for next season. Anyone know about getting accomidation for 3 months in Queenstown/Wanaka? I can't get there till late june so will that be a prob? Don't fancy sleeping in a car for the seanson. I've heard it's meant to be crazy trying to find somewhere esp in queenstown. Anyone got the national pass before? I want to get one but can i get one from outside NZ and where can I get one from? Anything would be great. Cheers

 
dunno bout finding the accom thing but imagine it will be hard. but i do know bout the pass. wait till like january or february next year. thats when they release all the season pass details on the snow web page. the site is www.snow.co.nz

Yea it will be hard to get a place but keep looking or when u get to Queenstown go see Doug at Resort Property Rentals they are on Stanly St beside the Speights Bar u cant miss them. Also check out www.nzski.co.nz as there pases go on sale in early feb u can buy them straight off there web site. Good luck bro.

 
well i actually live here in wanaka, about getting a national pass, i dont think its going to happen, trust me, they go in 20 minutes of being available, and in wanaka, theres heaps of backpackers n stuff, its pritty crusy

if you're living in wanaka/queenstown, don't bother getting a national pass, waste of time and money, just get one for a local field, get a job up there and accomodation is a piece of cake, stay at the backpackers for a couple days, find some dudes and chicks in the same position as you and get a pad together, easy as pie.
