thanks for the search, but i got a question about it does it search every thread ever or do threads get deleted after they have no been responded to for a certain amount of time

A slew of threads were lost in the re-coode last year. But they don't 'expire' per se. So technically you can search every thread ever, but there are a couple thousand that have mysteriously vanished.
