Scuba. who does it

i doo..my dad made me get certified like 5 years ago.
i jsut have the basic certification though, not advanced or anything. :)
been a ton around the new england area, i really want to go somewhere tropical.

In grade 6 i went on vacation to the Dominican Republic and got certified there. Got my license and everything. I havnt done it since and now im in grade 10 so ill need a refresher if i ever go again.

made..... you make it sound like a chore haha. I did a night dive the

other weekend as part of the advanced open water course. much fun. Im doing an ice dive this winter, brrrrr. Im hopefully going to dive in Hawaii over Christmas break, a big difference from cold canadian water.

hahah i was young and didn't see the purpose.
but now that i'm older it's worth itice dive? that sounds intense.. FREEZZING
night dives seem extremely scary... i don't think i could ever handle that
i dove(?) dived(?) in Hawaii a few years back, in Maui. it was beautiful
you can like hear whales if it's at the right time of dayinsanely amazing

the night dive was actually pretty calming. of course i only did in freshwater so very little marine life, but we did see some fish just chillin at the bottom. I suggest taking the advanced course just for the hell of it, just opens up more possible dives to log, like ice dives. Il be doing it wearing just a wetsuit too! but really the water will only be a few degrees colder then my last dive

I do! I'm in the keys right now & have been diving ship wrecks all week. So far I've seen a six foot sea turtle, an 8 foot shark, a 6 foot ray, and a 3-4 foot eel. Got pics of all of them.

Advanced Open WaterWreck DiverBoat DiverDeep Diver
Working on getting my NITROX & Search and Recovery Certifications, which will then give me my MASTER DIVER cert. This shit is so much fun. Almost as awesome as skiing.
To the dude that posted the other pics with the underwater point and shoot - that's what mine are with, too. It's just a cheap 35mm camera with a housing that is good to about 130 feet. You can pick up some dope digitals pretty cheap these days. Check out the Sealife DC1200 on diversdirect.com. It's a 12mp digital that is good to 200 feet....here's the best part, it's only $400!! Best deal I've been able to find to date. Mine is being ordered this week.

i got certified last year, but our teacher person was a douche so it was kind of a bad experience. plus diving in maine sucks. but i did dive in cancuun this year and that was pretty cool, even though both me and my dad got seasick on the way out cause of the massive swells. my dad puked through his regulator 50ft underwater.

there are some good places, but its usually pretty damn cold. I'm definitely gonna get certified either this summer or next, depends on when I have the time too.

just did my 200th dive last week :)
i'm a 3star diver and am currently doing an instructor course, so in the padi system that's rescue diver?
and i usually dive in Holland, in the "Oosterschelde' that's a tidal river with a very rich underwater lifeor the North Sea, boat-diving or in Brittany, France, in the atlantic ocean....
:)
