Scratch Ghettos or J.O Pros?

^hell yes. dope flex, dope graphic, dope lightness. Im in love with mines. and bombproof too. you cant go wrong with heads

j.o. pros are so nice dude. ive skid both of em and jo was way better. it is way light and feels so good in the park.

I'd go for the Jon Olsson pros. They've come up with a new "glass core" I think it's called, or something along that line, which makes it really light. Apparently though, it's a fit flimsy. I know someone who snapped his after a couple days. Might be the new core technology.

The Ghetto's, however, are probably just as sick. I guess it depends on your skiing style.

the ghetto is the scratch fs from this past season with a new graphic. the jon's are a completely new ski that most of us have not skied yet. therefore, advice from newschoolers will most likely not help you whatsoever. the new head's are supposed to be about half as light as the old ones though, but personally i just dont really like how heads ride.

ok, so if some people have, in fact, skied them and can comment on them (like... oh, say some of the people who posted above you), then how will asking NS not be helpful? oooohhh, wait- you explained in the end of your post what your true motive is. you just don't like Head. shut the fuck up until you have something of some real substance to post.

i rode a pair of JO's and they were one of the lightest skis ive ever ridden. they were demos so alot of people had been riding them and there were almost no topsheet damage's and they had uber pop to them too. GET EM

dude, i said most people havent skied it. obvisously the two people above me who posted that they have skied it have every reason to put in their piece. however, most of the 'advice' posted was more along the lines of 'sick graphics, get the heads.' i don't necessarily wanna sway the kid from buying the heads, its just my personal preference that i dont really like most of their skis. the supershapes and the 1200 are both really fun skis, but beyond that, most of their all mountain skis, and the mojo 80s, dont really suit me. the mojo 90s i liked a lot, but not as a park ski. i liked the flex, light weight, and amount of pop out of the scratch a lot better, that is all. head as a company is putting a lot of money into trying new stuff with their skis, which is cool, as long as the ski works for you. to put it in plain and simple terms for you, most of head's skis dont work that well for me because i am fairly light weight, and i dont have the weight to get their stuff to flex how its designed to flex for optimum performance, whereas, other companies product suits me better because of that. make sense?

Get the Ghetto, I rode it last season and loved it. Super Poppy, super responsive, solid on landings, carves like a mofo.

Rossi makes skis that are indestructible and if you get rossi bindings you have a 2 year warranty that is as good as Apple's

The ghettos were really light, easy to spin, fun, poppy, but a bit too stiff for my liking.

However, you neglected to inform us on what you will be using this ski for. You just said your torn between the two. For all mtn I would say the ghetto, but park, look into the JO's. I dont know how they ride, but I can safely assume they will be better in the park.

No its not. They removed weight from the tips and tails, and put fibreglass in its place, to make the ski substancially lighter then the FS WRS. The rep also told me that they have a die-cut abse(I didnt look when I rode them) but the swingweight is decreased alot from the 07 model. He said it has been stiffened up slightly as well.

Dont go around spreading rumours. It makes what little percent of fact we have on here just go right out the window.

I HAVE ridden the JO and I CAN say that they are super light, super poppy, super solid, ans super hot. for the guy saying why he didnt liked the heads, this years ski is COMPLETELY different.

they are so sick seriously. I would cut my left arm for them.

...not really, but i love them

^they are softer than the mojo 80s. Still stiff enough to stick landings, but soft enough to get mad pop.

when i skied them i asked the rep if they were changed at all from last years, and i was told they were not. sorry.

Haha, no big deal. The rep at my hill went into great detail about the new construction. A bit too stiff for my liking, but still a solid ski.

How did you like them?

i'd personally go with the scratches

the J.O.'s are using pretty new technology(using glass tubes?) and no one really knows how durable they are in the long run

line reactor anyone?
