which ski should i get, the fugis06-$209.oo

scratch fs 05-200$

i ski park and the whole mtn, east coast

about 50% both and im bout 110 lbs

i have the fujatives and i like them alot but if you do a little more all mountain then id suggest scratches, when i demoed them they seemed a litte stiffer

I would say the fujis, only because I have them and I love them, they are a little soft and in wet deep pow they have some float probs, but for the most part they are sweet, they have the 85 underfoot which helps too(I dont know what the scratches are, but they seem skinnier). I also like k2 better than Rossi in general.

Um, what jumps are you landing backseat in?

In all honesty, the fujis are perfect for park, and when hucking cliffs with them they are still pretty sweet, though the tips are kinda soft which proves a problem sometimes when landing in pow,

for instance;

we were hitting a 15 footer on a very wet semi deep day, the snow was the classic sierra cement. I hit it, landed center(my skis are 179 centermounts) and my tips flexed up, and dove down, and I went head over heads. This is the only time ive fallen off a cliff in pow with the fujis(due to their flex, ive hucked some shit that shouldve killed me a few times, but every self respecting skier finds it necessary from time to time)

Another problem with them being centermounted is the tails are so long, one day when we were huckin fronts off small cornices my tails would dig in first and it would goof me up, I dont know exactly what happened but it felt really weird, I think it has more to do with centermount.

Overall, as long as your not a fat fuck, the fujis should be rad.

i have had both skis. the scratches are a little stiffer, you cant butter on them as easily(and buttering is damn fun). overall i prefer the fujatives. they have a wider base, flexier pattern, and are a super durable ski for rails and shit, where as the scratch is better all mountain but doesnt hold up as well on rails. both skis are great though so i dont think you can go wrong with your choice.
