yea i heard that too but i tend to like dynastar more....how heavy/tall are u? cause if ure light tm's proll wouldnt be that bad

----------------------------

5'9'' 165... I dunno if that makes that much of a difference to which ski would be better for me, I'm thinking scratches but I'm not sure, any other tips would be greatly appreciated

id def get the TM's

yeah, the scratch is a far superior ski. i had tms, and they were nice on jumps and stuff, but they were heavy. they felt real off balance compared to my lines. the rossi is super light, and the tm is way less durable. def get the rossis.

I have the scratches now, and ive demoed the TMs. I like both skis a lot, but they are different. The TMs are a lot stiffer than the scratches, so that is a matter of preference for you. Also i think if you dont do too many rails the TMs will stay together.

i say scratches because i liked them when i tried them and from what i hear TM's fall apart on rails

Dont go to England...E V E R

I have both and working shit out with tms is nice because they are heavy and you have to 'feel' it, once you got it down throw on the scratches and it becomes unbelievably easy. Scratches are the way to go for lightness and durability.

- My edges on tms are great underfoot despite rail after rail, but they are disconnected at the nose where edge meets metal plate at top? Anyone else?

mistake, the TMs are built with a complete wood core, the scratches are built with three different cores side by side, not even on top of each other, 2 types of foam and a wood. the worst part is the left and right ski are the same, the wood is on the same side on each. now ur gonna get a cood turn on one side and a foam turn on the other

yeah, but the tms core is horizontal laminate. the epoxy bonds break down way to fast. they suck after a few weeks.

^^I have the dark blue regular 'Scratch' from last year, and they have a 100 percent wood core. And they are cheaper than the FS. Go figure.

^^ Yeah I have those blue ones too. Great all-around ski. Super easy to lay down a line on a steep, spin through the park for some rails, then hit the pipe all in the same run. The topsheet sorta nicks easily on the edges, but who the hell cares about how they look, it just shows you ride 'em a lot if they've got battle scars. ;P

due in own a pair of rossi scratch BC but i dont know what the differnece is between them and the fs. They're an awesome ski. My friend has TMs and have already fallen apart after a season of park.

dude its done he already got the scraches

scratch fs

pros: fun ski, great in pipe & rails. good durability

cons: not that great all mountain ski

troublemaker

pros: light, great/fun all mountain cruising ski. great pipe ski. tons of pop.

cons: worst durability of any ski on the market. soft base and crummy edges.

stay off of rails
