not the 1080s.

Trouble makers are a good pipe jump ski, but are pretty heavy and are slugish on jibs.

scratch fs are alright, not the best ski out there. good ski though.

i would recomend lines, 4frnts, k2, or libertys. the smaller companies have better products, becasue if they dont, they are gone. if salomon produces a crappy twin, it doesnt matter, cause most of thier revenue is race and recreational skis.

I would go with the Scratches cuz there more versatile.

o yeah and dynastars cores will last longet than the other 2 will, cuz they are real wood cores insteda of foam or some thing made of 3 different things.

o yeah and the only thing that would make them heavy is if you put look bindings on them, and if you do its worth it, because they work great, because they are the ones that the ski is degisined to have used on them.

have YOU rode them? yes, they are heavy, its becasue its a horizontal laminate core, and it use twice the epoxy as a v lam core. and with thast, the TMs cores dont last that long, becasue they get most of thier pop from the epoxy bonds. i have a brand new pair of 175s sitting right nex to me, unmounted. yes, they arte heavy. 1800 grams is pretty heavy for a ski that skinny.

oops, the exopy bonds break down faster than the wood of a v-lam core. trust me, i know my shit when it comes to the technical stuff.

It'S the scrath thats gonna be the most endurance n it's the scratch thats made of three materials which is the thc core the same thing they put in their high quality snowboards. N all thought everyopne has them n they way comercialized, the probably are the best

Trouble Makers or Dynastar Phils Pro, Illest skis that aren't 4FRNT STLs (which is what you should get)

it dosent matter, the thc core in the scratch is as stiff as the chasi of your car, my friend has a brand new pair of dynastars and hes skied like 5 days on them already and he loves them!

I havent skid the dyn but i had them in my hand the other day (well actually it was the phil model but its only supposed 2b stffer) n it had a big swing weight n i thought it was to soft. I have the choice btween those n the phils n i thing im gonna take the tweaks

don't get dynastars if you plan on sliding rails alot, they could break.. go with the 1080's they are solid all round

the 1080's are great, but it totally depends on what type of shit you want to ride...

rails, etc? - 1080's will bust after some significant use...

mostly mountain, pow, and SOME park - 1080's are the shit....thats if youre looking for longevity out of them...

i like the 1080's, great ski, just dont know what kind of use you are talking about...totally depends...

yeah, it's for pow and park. Rails very little. This post isn't for me, i have buy the scratch fs with scratch 140 for 300$ but i see that not it's of the best freestyle skies.

^^ but heres the deal, sometimes you can sacrafice a little bit of quality for price, last year i was looking at mad trix, when i ran across prety much the same deal, i got the fs with power 100 bindings for 297, if i were you i would got with that deal, it will cost you a whole lot more to get a totaly new set up, thats a realy great deal depending on the condition of the skis.

'what?' Lauren every time you ask her a question for the first time!

FS with 140s for 300 bucks? What the hell are you waiting for, that's a fucking ridiculous deal. Most of the people on here don't have a fucking clue what theyre talking about, only listen to the people who have actually skiied the skis. With that in mind, Kjfreerider took about a week to completely destroy his Dynastars. Meanwhile, I skiied scratches last season (as did a friend of mine) and both of us were extremely impressed with performance in the park, and not disappointed with performance on the groomers. Great, awesome, excellent jib ski. Basically, get the damn scratches. You could pay 500$+ for 4frnts or armadas and more for bindings when there's no reason for it. 300$ is a ridiculous deal, and if you don't jump on it, you should regret it.

Top 5 skis:

1.) 4frnt MSP

2.) K2 Seth Pistol or Maden' Ak

3.) 4frnt STL

4.) K2 public enemy

5.) TM or Phil Pro model

You can't go wrong with those skis.

^But who the hell is making that list? You? Have you skiied them all? Because I don't agree with that shit at all... if I was going to make a top 5 list, it would look like:

1) Anything made by Drake Boinay

2) Faction Wednesdays

3) Ninthward Tha 187s (Not out yet, check the site)

4) LINE Moship Titanium

5) 4frnt MSP

Which, quality wise, would be good... but it's all preference. In any case, Dynastars would not be on the list, immediately voiding yours.
