Hey every1,

wats up my name's mike... great forum every1

so here's the deal, I'm 15 bein skiin 11 years i love on the east coast and do annual trips out west. I'm a very aggressive skier taht will ski anything anywhere. I love the bumps, treets, and powder. I'm about 145 and 5'11'

I'm lookin to buy skis at the end of the season and some1 suggested the Rossignol Scratch BC's. Any opinions? Will they b too wide for me in the moguls and on the groomers we have on the east coast?

thanks for your time

if it's mostly east coast, there are alot of skis that would better suit you're riding style, especially if you are a bumper. They would be great for the trips out west, but you would probably want something more suited towards park/mogul skiing for what you do. thats just my opinion tho

just ski.

u aren't gonna b getting too much powder out east so may aswell go with FS scratches if u wanted scratches if not, go with a better company

probly want a narrower ski for east coast, i have ridden scratch bcs a lot and prefer armada arv any day of the week, if ur set on a wider ski get the arv, JMHO.

The Scratch BCs are sweet skis. I ride them. There only 90mm so they're not that fat. If you like a wider ski I would definetly recommend them.

SMILE, its the second best thing you can do with ur mouth

I love the scratch BCs. Sick skis. But for you, something like K2 Public Enemy would probably be better.

get the bc's. they arent all that fat, and are a killer ski. once i dig up the cash, im picking up a pair, and i ski in quebec.

I don't condone this.

move away from the east coast then buy skis

Im not outta line your outta line the whole frikin system is outta line and when you reach over and put your hand into a pile of goo and find out its your best friends face, well guess what marge its chinatown.

get dynastar they are the ultimate east coast ski. (like for the conditions.)

'this is just like sex, only im having it!'

well I know these are fat skis thats for sure but the other skis I've been looking at are all in the 80's and well i figured 90 mite not b that much different... so really will it be too fat or it will b fine? also have any1 skied these in the bumps? I'm really concerned 'bout how well they'll handle them in bumps b/c i do enjoy the bumps a lot. I've heard only great things 'bout these skis in the powder treese and steeps but noting 'bout moguls...

Pretty much the most versatile ski you're likely to find. People saying 'buy from a better company' are complete idiots. They aren't great on ice, though. Thing is, the FS suck in pow, so if you're doing any of that, the BC would be a better choice. And yes, they kick ass. If I could only have one ski to do everything with, it'd probably be the BC in 182.

I love my TMs they handle everything pretty well.

ive ridden on the BCs and theyre sick skis. theyre great on the groomers so theres no problem there, theyre amazing for weaving through the trees, and theyre also pretty good in the park. as for moguls, im not a great mogul skier, but im can hold my own, and they weren bad, i wouldnt wanna be spending too much time in the bumps with them though.

overall, theyre a great ski that i'd love to own, but dont have the money, and already have a couple pairs of skis. so all in all, theyre a good bet, and you wont be dissapointed

i ski mostly on the east coast andi have both the fs and the bcs and i use the bcs 95% of the time. Great all around ski on groomers, in the park and in the trees. Not good for bumps or ice. I love them, definitely not too wide for the east.
