I love Scott Walker, he is in a small percentage of politicians who stands by what he says he was going to do.
For those who dont know, or are misinformed
Our state in Wisconsin faced a 3.6 Billion dollar deficit, and has already saved over 1 Billion dollars since elected all done WITHOUT RAISING TAXES, and we have a Budget surplus now (Pre Walker)Teachers in Wisconsin paid little to nothing into their healthcare and pension plan, and after the Act 10 reform teachers were required to contribute 12% into their healthcare premiums and 5.8% for their pension. Mind you this is half to a third of what people in the private sector pay, so if anyone should have an argument to be upset about its the private sector workers.
MPS (Milwaukee Public School Disctrict) put in place contracts and chose to not follow the Act 10 legislation. However, after choosing not to follow this legislation, MPS was forced to lay off teachers because they could not afford to keep them. Union Thugs and teachers said the sky would fall, however class sizes are down, teachers weren't laid off, and our state has saved millions.
Scott Walker eliminated Collective Bargaining for Union members pensions and benefits which saved our state a ton of money. Pre Walker, the teachers union of Wisconsin was in charge of providing health care for teachers, and they were incredibly overcharging taxpayers. The elimination of these Collective Bargaining privileges allowed teachers healthcare to be open for bidding by private companies which saved our state Millions of dollars and the savings can easily be seen statewide. This just goes to show you how inefficient Unions are. I am not against Private Unions, however Wisconsin's Teachers Union could up the price of health care for teachers, and Wisconsin taxpayers are stuck with the bill and increased taxes.
On a different aspect, Walker has created over 30,000+ jobs since he took office and these numbers were verified, yet Barrett continues to spew lies and say these job numbers are false. This whole election is garbage along with the fact that voter ID was held up in court by a liberal judge even though it passed. Voter ID would help to limit the voter fraud, however that isn't the case for this pivotal election.
