Scott skis

i haven’t seen a mention of Scott skis in years and wondered if they still are in the game. Apparently they do still produce skis. Checked it out and aside from the FWT bros they still have Levi ascher and mcrae Williams. But looking at their skis I didn’t see any twin tips, let alone park skis. What are they riding?

also, on the Scott site when you click on “winter sports” to find the skis, you have to scroll past goggles, helmets, protective gear, backpacks, ski bags, and sunglasses to get to the skis. I know they’re predominantly a bike company but damn, give your actual skis some love.

also, it’s wild that if you’re signed with Scott you’ve got skis, boots, poles, goggles, helmets, outerwear, backpacks and bike stuff lined up.

It’s hard to believe, but there is some really cool skis coming from Scott HOPEFULLY next season.

They are finally stopping with those weird pointless holes in the tips..

Scott actually has some really fun and good skis. Not sure who builds them btw.

A lot of their gear is really well designed. I've had an airbag backpack and it had all the features you want and more. Still got some really good touring boots from them. Somehow they lack some coolness although they also have some good looking outerwear these days. It always surprises me how much products they have but you never see a lot of them on the mountains?

If I recall correctly, they are built by Amer, most likely in their Austrian factory

My old Scott TWalls fell apart in like a week. Pretty fun skis but absolutely blew up after a short time.

Same, one of the most fun pair of ski’s I ever had, but I blew out the edge and the base started to delaminate by the second or third day of skiing. Brought them back to the shop I bought them at and the rep thought it was a manufacturer default but Scott disagreed and refused to replace the ski. The shop stopped carrying their skis the next season, they still sold all they soft goods and poles though. I also just kept skiing on them for a season until they were literally falling apart.

Yeah dude I was on their site amazed by the number of products they have. They must do a terrible job of promoting it and/or getting it into stores. But yeah seriously, what twin tips are Dane and Levi on?

Fun fact, this was a major reason for me not wanting to ski them

Fun fact: Black Crows added a chevron hole in their new Dracon touring ski

Those sounds more believable. I’m guessing Scott is such an ass ski brand that they don’t have the team page updated at all

Mcrae is still on Scott. He's also sponsored by Volkl/Marker for their skis. But he uses Scott gear for his packs and goggles and maybe some other stuff. Hes on Backcountry.com gear for outerwear.

Most riders have more than one sponsor at the end of the day.
