Scott P4

i was mainly wondering what they are made for....108 underfoot so powder obviously but like if they have park abilities too kinda like the ak's and lizzies. also how do scotts hold up
 
Can't tell you anything about the P4's, but I've been riding the old Intoxica P2's forever, and they're one of the most durable skis I have ever owned.

Surprisingly they're even still snappy.

I did finally get a cracked edge on them last week though. Not too bad for 4 years of heavy park use.

I think I'll be upgrading to the P3's soon
 
those ski are pretty amazing in park. i was riding them at the open in the park and they was pretty sick on jumps and rails but they are too big for the pipe

They have a pretty stiff tip, but a really soft tail. They rock all over the mountain. The 181 is a pretty solid park ski, I'm not sure how well the other lengths do in park though.
 
i talked to a guy in CO who reps for Scott and he said the skis are bomb proof and they can take a fuking beating

my p4s will be here this week. if they are anything like the p3's and the missions, they will be the best ski out their. they retail for like 640, can anyone even come close to that price with a ski???? hell no.
 
that's nice, but the rep at a ski expo for rossi told me that the flex of the core wouldn't start to deteriortate untill like 150 days or something rediculous. he also claimed that every ski in the expo that they were selling (a friggin buttload) had each received 6 hours of hand tuning and were in in "better than new" condition.
 
what does this have to do with anything? 150 days until deterioration? that's like 2 seasons, and that's pretty good? what are you on?
 
my point is that that's total BS so just becuase a rep says it doesnt mean it's true. and props to you if you get 75 days a season.
 
I'd just like to add that the CO rep for Scott and Helly is the FUCKING MAN. Jeff is the most awesome rep ever and if everyone here knew him... I bet half this site would ride scott and helly. haha.

But seriously.. P4's are awesome.. and can take a beating.
