Scoping some B dogs. What do I need to know

2018 model. Any durability problems? Any skis comparable to flex would be hype too. Toss in your overall impressions if you wanna paint a picture for me. Thanks

I had the 2016 bdogs and they actually fell apart more quickly than I expected. Edge separated pretty bad, just like my old halo 2's that preceded them. They're also relatively heavy skis. But the flex is indeed great.

B dogs or EDOLLOs don’t hold up as well as other armada skis like the arvs

what makes you say that? I get the Edollo not holding up but the B dog has slightly different construction

It might just be the skiiers but I’ve had a few friends delam their b dogs within a few days of riding. Just what I’ve seen.

Shit durability and imo not a fun ski. I ended up delaming both skis underfoot within 4 days of riding

Why arent they fun? and the 2017 or 2018s? I heard they improved durability in 2018

I had the ones with the dog house graphic on them, so I think that the 2018s. I guess it's more of a personal preference thing, but they felt like way too nimble of a ski for me if you're taking them anywhere outside of a little rail park.

Oh man you would hate the magnuses then. That’s the ski I switched to when my bdogs died, and the bdogs felt like a navy cargo ship compared to the mags

Im pretty used to dumb soft skis with no edge and I honestly like them so that sounds nice. If the bdog is a little stiffer/more stable then it sounds like the perfect ski for me, but the durability is sus. I found a deal on em so I copped a pair of the 2018s. Im hoping I get lucky. Also contacted armada about the durability and they said it should be fine, or they will warranty it if its a delam or something. Hyped to butter them but only heard negative reviews on here so I'm not sure what to expect

My Magnuses were much more stable than the Bdogs in my opinion. Still not my absolute favorite ski but I actually vastly preferred the Magnuses.

got on a pair of 181s and I got to say I was really underwhelmed. not big on how loose they are either, although thats exactly why he likes them lol

if you ski like b-dog, you'll probably like them... I liked how poppy they are, but too nimble for me. But I only like skis that are 100mm+ in the waist
