Scooby + shaggy= stoners?

A popular term for when a nug gets pulled through a bowl into your mouth is the "scooby snack"

And yes its been known for years that they were stoners.

scooby snacks = munchies or weed cookies

shaggy=stoner name, and he looks like a stoner

shaggy talks like a stoner

they get all scared and see ghosts and shit

only shaggy seems to be able to bond and talk to a dog

they drive a volkswagen bus with "mystery machine" printed on it, and apparently the smoke comes from the windows and not the exhaust pipe
 
haha i thought about that before and yeah they both are always freaking out cause their stoned, and they are always so hungry too

but other than that Scooby and Shaggy could not get anymore stonerlike... take for example how they say man to each other every 13 seconds

Besides, Takamoto added, one of the key creative players in the development of Scooby-Doo was a network executive, which means that Silverman would have had to have been in on the joke himself or uncharacteristically unaware.

Ultimately, the fact that so many people develop legends around these drawn characters, even to the point of wanting to identify with them, is a testament to the degree to which Scooby, Shaggy, and the the rest of the gang have been taken to heart by viewers over the years.
