OK so I have this nice little 6 ft pvc setup at my hill. It's a spine with a pvc on top so you can attack it from both sides or staright on...
Well i'm just learning switch ups and i'm having a hard time getting them down especially on this as it's really friggin high off the ground and pretty scary when you're standing on top of it
Whenever I try and scissor/switch up I always end up not getting all the way around and nutting myself
any tricks or edits to help me out?

if theres a longer rail try it on that cause 6 ft isnt really enough for a switch up if your still learning them

yeah it's at the local hill, sorry, not a backyard setup
I wish they had longer rails but they just have a ton of short one's and the one long one they have is used as a down rail now and it's INSANELY steep!

i had the same problem and what really helps is jumping.

when you lock in with your ski just jump the second you start to spin just hop!

this.... and keep practicing them. i got front swaps down down in like 5 hours when i tried really hard on em.

also try on a box thats atleast 15 feet long. will make it so much easier
