Well, it looks like it's official, Schweitzer opens Saturday on a white ribbon of death. Who else will be shredding up there this winter?

Let's use this thread to potentially meet up and keep an update on conditions.

I'll be the kid in the orange coat and camo fanny pack making gaper turns and giggling like a little girl.

you know I will! looks like some precip is coming Schweitzer's way in the next few days so its lookin good!

BRING ROCK SKIS

Whats up Schweitzer folks! I'm Hank, originally east coast, then Seattle/Stevens Pass for three years, and now due to some very fortunate circumstances I'll be living on the mountain at Schweitzer this winter and will be skiing every single day. I'll be around the mountain when the snow is good, but otherwise could be found lapping the park.

I'll be moving up the Saturday after Thanksgiving so I won't be there for opening day. I can't wait to meet you guys and gals, shred a ton, and have a solid winter.

May Ullr be with you all

I'll be there Cy, hopefully they have some park features set up. I'll be in the camo coat and black pants. OH and im bringing the rock skis!

right on, there wasnt any rails set up, but hopefully next weekend there is, another, we also just met another semi east coast yesterday. Look forward to meeting you.

The park has been open since Thanksgiving weekend with 5 rails (you can hit 4 per run), but as of today they closed off all rails except the top box and barrel, so you can only hit 1 per run. The mountain is in pretty bad shape after the rain so it's pretty understandable.

Yeah, defiantly one of the jankiest setups I have ever seen from them. Oh well, hopefully it dumps by break.

Anyone wanna be my friend and ride with me? Miss riding with NSers like I did at Stevens

That's too funny... This is my first season at Schweitzer, coming from Stevens, and I need people to ride with. I'm riding Friday & Saturday this week, let me know if you'll be here!
