So I'm taking a Public Speaking class at my community college. Well I need to do an informative speech of 10 minutes for my class, and my speech purpose was going to be: To broaden the classes knowledge of freestyle skiing. Well I need to have 6 "sources" but I don't know how to get a legit source on freestyle skiing information, because I know all about it. Do you get what I'm saying?I can use quotes though, so if any of you guys want to leave a professional looking quote with your name then I may use it. Thanks NS

it depends what your teacher considers a source. ask if you can maybe use movies(the ones with words and stories in them obviously!) and quote them? they're technically documentary style no? especially older ones. i'm almost positive there's gotta be books on it, check your library and bookstores. ask if articles are allowed and what types.
 
change your topic, I did my first speech on freestyle skiing and it blew dick. trying to dumb dowwn knowledge and give a speech about something you know a lot about is hard, my advice is choose something random like lion taming and research it

yeah definitely do it on lion taming or someting. i remember in my speedh class there was this guy trying to talk about snowboarding and he just came off as the biggest tool ever. he was like "yeah we do spins on rails and stuff"
 
I did one also on freestyle skiing. Same result.

Do something creative or choose a skiier that inspires you. I'm working on a speech right now on Shane McConkey for french class. Lot's of information and it's not too vast of a topic.

A good friend of mine is doing Ninja's.
