Got a quick question. IS the schizofrantic system something you can install on the ski or does it have to come on the ski from K2? I bought some Kung Fujas and now have griffon schizos on there way. So I was wondering if I can install these with the schizofrantic system or will I just have to mount them flat? Bigger guy so I was hoping to install with Schizofrantic for added strengh. +k for answers.

K2 and Volkl do have the schizo system, but it can also be mounted on a flat ski (or on a K2 or Volkl as a flat ski).

but its not really going to be any stronger then lets say the normal griffon (i assume you got griffons). it just allows you to change up your position on the ski

Yeah I know it can be mounted on flat..... maybe you missed the point.. go to K2 and look at the SCHIZOFRANTIC system. It's special mounting hardware that are in the ski (supposively gives twice the area of contact so twice as strong. I have the griffon schizo bindings coming. The schizofrantic system is some special mount system through k2 I want to know if you hav to buy a ski with the schizofrantic system already in it or do these special way of fastening come with the bindings and can be done at the shop. I have already e-mailed K2 but am hoping someone can help me here

I think the schizofrantic only come as a system ski setup.

You can mount the regular schizo's on a flat ski.

PS. the schizo system is not a pain in the ass at all. You just turn the pihllips screw with the key provided for you. (Only downside with this binding ive had so far is that the key is plastic...)

You have to buy the ski/binding as the FRANTIC system. If you buy them seperate you cannot install inserts for the schizoFRENIC binding you just drill it in like a regular binding
