Scared of handrails

So two days ago I hit my first handrail in almost a year. Last year I fucked myself up on one, and ever since then I couldn't even hit the smallest rails (like knee height -_-) but if it wasn't a rail I could still hit huge stuff. yeah stupid story I know but has this happened to anyone else? Like really bad to the point of flat out fear of a rail,jump,etc?
 
It wasn't a handrail for me, but this happened a few years back. I hit a down tube, slipped up and slammed my side on it and it took me a few months before I would even go near another rail. So yeah, I feel you!
