personally, this all depends on where u live. And where u get ur information from, becuase we all know that the media is sooooo censored now, ppl will believe just about anything. For instance that 1 video where they tried to prove the government was behind 911. Thats total bullshit, buty many ppl believed it because all of the so called "facts" they put into the movie. I could make a movie about explaining how democrats helping illegals cross the boarder. I know its very farfetched, but if i had enough "facts" in it and video footage, i GURANTEE many ppl will believe it. Media is fucking up our country
 
They key is not making a distinction between republicans and democrats. Its important not to become a partisan hack as usually happens when people become informed or feel strongly about one subject. As with most things in life the truth lies somewhere in the middle.

That being said Republicans are pretty much the most retarded people on the planet. I dare any person who claims that they are "republican" to crack a fucking book. I can suggest many pm me if you would like to learn what its all about.

I know my statements are contradictory but seriously I have looked at both side objectively and the Dems really want to help America and the rest of the world and the majority of republicans do not.

i agree, look at it this way, look how many nations hate bush, a ton and look how many hated clintion. barely any hated clintion because he was friendly and was someone they could talk to. bush has his own agenda and nothing can stop it. the election this year was a wake up call for republicans and the fact that they need to figure shit out or by 2008 there gonna be in really really deep shit.
 
Republicans seem to be a bit more close-minded and opposed to outside views influencing their own. As a result, we get ridiculous things like gay marraige bans, wars on ideas, laws against relatively safe drugs, and many other fun wastes of tax money. Not to say that the democratic party doesn't have any shortcomings, but since we're all making huge generalizations I'm going to say republicans are a little more boneheaded on average.

i think everyone on here is being a little bit biased. i dont think it matters whether you are a democrat or republican, as long as you are informed, i think you can formulate your own political opinion; of course people will have different opinions about different topics, thats inevitable. but i think its wrong to classify someone as smart or dumb just because of which political party they follow. i have met alot of smart democrats and republicans, and alot of stupid ones. please, if you are saying that the other party is stupid without justifying it in any means, then YOU are the one who is ignorant.

It's a strawman. If you don't know, it's basically when someone sets up something untrue characterizing the other side, which is easily argued against. In this case, he ridicules democrats for getting their political beliefs from MTV. No one who has any trace of decency or integrity gets their information from a shitty music/dating television station, but if he makes people believe that the other side does, then he can pretend like he's winning.
