spitzer sold the land for development of a golf course, condos, etc. complete bs. please sign guys! we need all of the help we can get

signed. A similar situation took place a few years ago in New Paltz. If anyone remembers "Save the Ridge". A few contingency groups stalled the efforts of development and eventually there was a falling out between the developer and the owner of the land. The land was saved. Hopefully the same takes place with the Belleayre region.

my mountain is like that, sooo commercialized but they put no effort into the mountain or lifts, they are in the billions in condos but they still run low-speed doubles only.

Wow Lesley! I was going to post this link but I never got around to it. I told my mom I would post in PH, and today she asked me if I had, because lots had signed from Canada. This is a great idea, as it will get so many signatures.

Thanks to everyone who has signed! This is my home mountain, and has been for 10 years. And while I know that change happens every year, this is one change I do not want to happen. So thanks for your support and get as many people to sign as possible!

i like the expansion plans and think you stupid tree huggers are just over reacting, i like golf, my wife likes spas i love to snowboard all and all i like what i see. now serve me some veal piccata and shut up.
 
we're not tree huggers man. im down for boosting the economy in that area but its coming with a heavy price tag. i.e. polluting the water.

basically what it comes down to is the fact that we're trying to keep douche bags like you away from belleayre. so take your attitude and head to hunter. they'll accomodate you perfectly there. good day.
