Save Our Sonics

no actualy I think the sonics moving to Oklahoma is a good fit, see Oklahoma is larg flat and boaring just like the sonics have been for the last few years.

What I really don't see is why the sonics think that we should pay for them to play here when they don't actualy give anything back except another shity team to watch.

And they complain that the Key areana has kept them from makeing money because it has the smallest seating capacity of any NBA areanas, when they still arn't able to sell out games, maybe if they sold out 75% of their games theey would have something to complain about.

So let the sonics leave.

historically, they're our winningest team. They may not be very good now, but they're one more thing that keeps Seattle on the map. Or at least helps Seattle hang onto the map.

64 an 18 in the 95 96 season almost taking the world title over the bulls

also a 63 n 19 season in 93 94. and i almsot forgot about world champions 78 79.

with past all stars like shawn kemp, gary 'the glove' payton, detlef, nate micmill. and old greats such as jack sikma, and 'down town' freddie brown. why would you want to get rid of a team that has so much history.

because history is all they have, and i don't like to pay for teams to get new stadiums, when they can pay millions to their players each year. I will start supporting pro sports teams when the soldiers in Iraq get paid more then they do.

one of the main problems with the key arena deal is that the city of seattle takes in 50% of the money that the sonics generate during homr games. and the reason why you are an idiot, the sonics had a bad year last year, but the year before they were in the playoffs, and lost to the spurs which would go on to be champions, and that was a series that could have been different had rashard and vlade not gone down with injuries, and ray not have gotten injured and played hurt. the main thing the sonics need to do is major changes in thefront office, namely walley walker has to go, he is the idiot that made two of the worst deals in NBA history in signing worthless bid men Jim McIlvane and Calvin Booth to fat contracts, after non-product careers that showed no signs of possible success. he was also the idiot who signed paul westphal and other bad coaches, and whose lack of faith and loyalty drove nate away. look for me next year, i'll be the guy wearing the sonics jersey at nuggets games against the sonics (going to colorado state for school).
