so i just got my scores today and i got a 1870. on the psat i got an 1860 but i cheated my ass off on the psat and didnt on the sat. so my scores were in line which is pretty good so my question is how much could my score go up if i take it again? karma for help

if you just take it again honestly it wont change much. if you go back and study more you can get a ton higher. the first time i took it i got an 1810 and i went back and worked at it for a while and went back and was really dumb the night before and went out all night and when i went in the next morning i ended up falling asleep through 3 sections and still got a 1870, i could have probably scored like 2200+ if i wasnt a sped... work at it for a while and take it again, colleges will take the best scores overall that you get. so if you do good in one secion one time and better the next time they take the best scores.

50 points is what I see on average for my students just from practice test to practice test. Buy a book (Princeton Reviews stuff kicks ass) or look into doing a class if you are shooting for over 2000.
