Saratoga anybody??

GFA EERRRDAY

None of us are working there this year.

Last year was too much of a shit show if there hadn't been enough drama the last 3.

I heard the rails might have gotten stolen too. I kind of wanted the planted snow tools rake. Probably already robbed though

What beard?

Funny pics of Ted Resurrection?

And yeah, Pretty much moved to TGR. I've been to the internet parties and everything.

GOOD LUCK!

If that corrugated is still kickin around you should sesh that. Someof the most fun I ever had at that shit hole

when ever it snows a lot the mountain biking trials by the triple chair are fun but other than that it gets old quickly

whats the deal with the train station rail up by gore? rusty posted a video of it from awhile ago but looks like fun. bust factor?

It's really no big deal. An area where there aren't local cops. When we hit it, I was standing on the drop in and a cop drove by, stopped in the rode, looked, then kept driving.

Just the fact that we saw a cop was pretty rare.

It's a nice little spot though. And it's on the edge of town so nobody's really over there. Plenty of room to park. I'd say like 15 feet of run up from the curb.

It's like a 1/4 mile from the ski bowl. I'd like to hit it again. Speed was a bitch the last time, def didn't get my fix.

slim to zero bust factor. its on a pretty mellow down slope with over sized stairs. speed will be a huge prob, last time i hit it we used a car with like 100 feet of rope to even get a decent run. last time i was there ther also was a fence at the bottom of it

Fence is still there but could be removed. As long as you don't come off on the outside it's nbd.

And that stupid rope fucked my trunk latch up for a couple years

I think you guys are forgetting that the train didn't run when we were hitting it so no one was around. Now the train is running, so people are gonna at least be working in the station. Taking out the fence is probably not a good idea.

Its gonna start December 30th, and will show up at gore at 10am then leave at 4:30, so I think between that/ after 5:00pm it doesnt run

I had a kid bust out of the elevator at the hotel and tell me he was going to see Santa on the polar express last night.

The train will be sitting at the NC station between 10am and 4:30 pm. They think it'll bring more business to North Creek. The Damn think leaves 15 mins after the last lift stops. No time to enjoy Town/grab something to eat. between skiing and leaving.

If they expect it to actually make money, they need to get monthly passes and family passes. $19/person isn't bad, if I was planning on going up by myself. That would be close to the price of gas costs. I also want to be at Gore before 10:30 AM, and don't was 2 hours of travel time, each way. They need to renovate the tracks and crank that speed up.

Tracks being active also fucked with the Snowmobile trail network. You can now no longer connect from LG (and consequently, anything east of there) to tug hill without going some absurd route up to the Lake Placid area. I think.

I want to hit that green rail right in town. Last time I was going to hit it there were two cops parked in that lot waiting for speeder/dwi's so we did the police station rail instead.

Good size mellow rail.

And fuck that trail ted. I say we blow it up. Those tracks are probably in worse shape than the lifts at west mountain

The Ski Train is doing surprisingly well. Although, it says 2/3s of the customers have been for the Polar Express rides. I'm still guessing the numbers will drop significantly once the season picks up. Maybe it'll rock on pow days when no one wants to drive there.

Also, says different hours than I originally though. Leaves Saratoga at 7am, (get to NC around 9) and leaves NC at 6:20. Forcing People to hang out in Town. Good. And since the Tannery pub is still fucked... looks like they'll be at BarVino.

""That's how wildly successful it's been," Ellis said during a visit to the train station Thursday. "If anything, we were conservative in our business plan. The ridership has been more than expected."

Ellis had expected the train would see about 38,000 riders from its first run on July 23 through the end of 2011, he said. He expects the actual total to be nearly 60,000."

Welp. I lied. Returning Saratoga by 6:20. Means leaving Gore at 4ish still. give or take a few minutes. Probably give.

i could be wrong, but i think the "nightlife" is directed to our parents. I looked it up and all I could find were taverns, B&bs, and a theatre group. Sooo no.

yeahh toga cops are bitches but some kids hit a lot of urban in toga last year and were fine. Im looking to hit a lot of urban this year in toga, Anyone can hit me or Willgums up for urban spots/seshes

hit the spa catholic rail this year during that one snowstorm we got. was so nice and cops did give a shit. like 5 cop cars drove by and drove off. oh and next season at willard we're suppose to be getting a few new rails considering like 3 of them got trashed this season. plus we got a new flat box before the season ended; stoked on that one.
