Santa Cruz summer setups?

Anyone out there got a summer jib setup around SC or would be interested in collaborating on building one? I want to get some practice in before this season, cause I hardly learned anything last winter and it was a bit of a letdown.

Yo Bro.

I live in San Jose. I could be down with putting something together maybe. Cant afford to blow much money but have some enthusiasm for learning.

Hey man I live in aptos. This is what I have.

i built it not too long ago, and hit it for a bit but i havent been around much lately. just random weekends as i moved to sac, so i only go back to aptos every few weeks.

if somebody around Aptos, wants to come disessemble my setup(see above), they can have it. i need to get rid of it, so if you can figure some way to transport it, PM and we will plan a time that i'll come down and help take it down. i dont have a vehicle that it will fit in so thats on you.

Bro, if i can figure out a place to put it, I'll help you disassemble it.

Either way, i'm still down to hit it.

Still unsure about dam passes!?!?!

That would be awesome, yeah we still need to get a sesh in. I'm just in the process of selling my house so at some point I have to get rid of it, and I would much rather give it to a fellow skier who will get use out of it then destroying it.

I'm for sure going Sugar Bowl, and Alpine/Squaw.

Yep, yep. Take care of your shit and let me know when you head down.

Its looking like I'm sort of being pushed into a Heavenly/Northstar pass.$379 with blackouts. Cant really complain. I'll still be popping over to SugarBowl when i hit up Reno and what not.

Trying to get the fellows into going to Alpine/Squaw, but all i hear is northstar this, northstar that when i mention snow to any of my people. (All boarders)

Hitting Boreal first before i get any pass. 3 days for the price of 2 should keep me happy till the rest of the mountains open up. Apparently Halloween is the proposed open date for Boreal? You have an idea for an opening for SugarBowl?

your boarder friends sound like my boarder friends: uneducated pieces of shit when it comes to the snow. The northstar pass was worth it when it was $299 and included sierra with no blackouts. you'll still have fun riding with your friends though.

hopefully boreal gets enough snow to open by halloween, I'll probably be driving up and have room in my car for rides if anyone's interested

Forgot bout this thread.

Yeah, i gets ya, about your boarder friends and what not Thing is, i dont really know know better. I havent been to many other mountains and dont really have experience with different snow so going with what everyone says on here and other websites that northstar (flatstar?) is an average mountain other than its park. I'm a solid level 1 so hitting every feature isn't a possibilty so northstar/heavenly could be a good pass for me to get with it having more easy approachable newschooler jibs.

The only other option i think is think is the kirkwood only for 5 days mid week for $199 or the squaw/alpine for $399. Either one will be hard to get the rest of the fuckers i ride with to switch from northstar "because of the park"

Starting to stress about what pass to get to start saving money now rather than later.
