Sandpoint!

Hey friends. I am in Physical Therapy school in Denver and just got word that I'll be moving to Sandpoint at the end of August for a clinical. I have never set foot in Idaho before, but super stoked! I'll be there for 6 weeks...maybe even seven for the sake of exploration?

Any suggestions on housing would be greatly appreciated. There's always craigslist, but I thought I'd try posting here first.

I'm not the best at checking my newschoolers, so if you are super savvy on the area feel free to shoot me an email.

Thanks pals, you rock.

I was just driving through town the other day and it looks like there opening a new apartment complex, looked pretty nice. I think they were called the Miltown or Milltown or Midtown Apartments or something close to that. Hopefully they're open by the end of summer.

Sandpoint is an awesome town! It is a smaller town so there's no big party/club scene at all, but the mountains and people make up for it! Schweitzer is an absolutely killer mountain. super good snow, good terrain and the park is decent. As im just a senior(off to college next year) i don't know to much bout the housing scene, but there's plenty of places available!

hit me up if you have any questions.

I love Sandpoint. So much to do there, beautiful setting, and one of Idaho's better towns for sure.

Chimney rock. Long hike to get there, but crazy ass climb.

YA, unless your super experienced.... i would not even think about it. Super long hike and if you were to get hurt......my god that would be once expensive helicopter ride.

I don't climb but there's a spot in Laclede (10-20 mins out if sanpoint) that's fairly popular.

I think most of the people really into climbing take trips down to PostFalls since there's supposed to be some cool spots down there but I don't know anything about it.

There's also a climbing gym in town that's just getting started that's more someones side project then a business (ie. doesn't have set hours or a real staff) but more people started using it it might grow into something more legit

Hope that helped, climbing seems fun but a whole new thing to waste money on

Yo! I just recently moved to Sandpoint. It's a really fun little town, plus you get the epic mountain of Schweitzer right in your backyard.

There's a lot of cheap housing here. I'm renting a room in a nice house that's right on the lake, about three blocks from downtown... And it's only 300 a month.

You should have no trouble finding housing on craigslist!
