hey, i was wondering if anybody has any experience ordering anything from sandbox? they sell videos and helmets and thats about it.

i ordered my helmet two weeks ago, (green non-certified brain X/XL) it said it was in stock, and they sent me an order confirmation e-mail, but i have not yet recieved my helmet. does anyone know how long it usually takes these guys to ship something out?

normally i wouldnt really care, two weeks isnt that long, but shipping was $20.00, and they arent even that far away. im pretty sure you can have a package that size/weight overnighted for not much more than $20.00.... what gives?
 
Pretty sure they are a company from BC, so I'm not sure if that would play a factor in shipping, but 20 bucks is a lot and there should be no excuse.
Irrelevant question, but how come you got a non-certified one?
 
^^^^^non-cert is lighter. i really only bought it because it is required for some railjams/competitions and i like to wear one when im hitting street rails. i know its not as good a real helmet, but i hate real helmets and all the weight and uncomfortablness that accompanies them.
 
word. I hope for your sakes these comps and jams dont require certified helments. But I know what you're saying with regards to it being lighter. I was planning on buying one but im not sure how it'll bit with splices.
 
why not just get a smith maze then? those are light as fuck and may be even lighter then sandbox helmets
