Sandbanks

i went there last year. i think it is over ratded and there is actualy no real "sand banks" that there isant 2 milon people siting on so dont even think of skiiing down one it would probaly land u a heavy fine
 
No, maybe not skiing. But the beach is awesome. And a met a lot of people there. That's a good place to go on summer.
 
i go as often as possible. when are you planning on going up first? im thinking of sometime in mid-may.
 
funny you should mention that. you gotta know where to go, because there are super nice spots where people are scarce. definitely not overrated at all.

also, i've definitely skied down the dunes there. it's not really worth it, but makes for a great story nonetheless.
 
sandbanks is in picton! like an hour from my house. Good times there... The annual mushroom fest kicks ass. Basically it involves 5 grams of mushrooms each, followed by the best day on the beach EVER.

It's the best when it's really windy, and the huge swells pick up. So fun to swim in
 
have the sandbanks are fenced off to "preserve the wildlife" but ya balsam is fun but to crowded, kilbear has awesome cliff jumping and bon echo blows
 
this place near me, the sleeping bear dunes has some crazy fun sand rides. also, arcadia bluffs. they're bigger than my ski hill. haha
