so no one has really mentioned this.. but whats up with sammy not placing in anything?  or even coming close?  I didn't see the us open, and i did see the finals for slope and pipe at x games.. but that still doesn'tanswer.. I'm just confused.. i thought this was gonna be sammy's big year and i was stoked for him... but i guess not?
 
it just sees like the poor guys been having a bit of bad luck, i'm sure it'll improve soon. he layed the smack down on both those coarses just not at the right time.
 
yea it sucks that all these people are winning that he could beat with his eyes closed.. but you gotta throw down when the time comes and it just doesn't seem to be happenin for him
 
yeah i mean it was tight... all he did was backseat on his 10 or 12 i cant forget on the last hit so he probably should have at least qualified
 
i think sammy's the man, but when you fall the judges usually tend to take a couple points off. i wish he didn't get 18th, but he earned it.
 
His run was sick but he fell when he needed to stick it, if you fall your not gonna place, maybe 18th was a little steep was with a fall one both runs ur not gonna make it in
 
yea this year hasn't been to great for sammy on the contest scene but thats not to say he's not been killin it elsewhere. he was killin it at retallack and will probably be putting out some sick segments in next years movies
 
he is to dedicated to contests but then cant handle the pressure

i think he should talk to salomon to let him stop doing contests and just crank out a dope video segment each year.

imagine if he spent all the time he does practicing for contests to filming crazy shots.

Contests = money for Sammy and Contests = profile for Salomon.

Both need to happen
 
in teh big air semifinals or whatevere it's called he did one of teh most beautiful switch 1080s I've ever seen, but then the next time he fell
