Hey this is a short movie we made this year and I filmed basically all of it and edited most of it except the full windells segment but I was just wondering if anybody had any comments on it. Much appreciated +k to whoever helps out.

I won't pick at specifics in a 14 minute video; that'd take forever. For me this movie was fun to watch; the skiing was pretty good and the vibe was decent (despite not liking the music much at all). However, the filming/editing wasn't exactly jaw dropping. It didn't suck, don't get me wrong. But it wasn't enough to stand out in and of itself.

I think your product successfully conveys your season's skiing, but I'd recommend putting more time into filming than just standing on the knuckle or followcamming laps without a care other than capturing the tricks. More time into editing would be good too; think about how your music should compliment the footage, think about transitions, color correction, titles, pacing, and phrasing of your shots in the timeline. [Note: the list is all areas where I thought the video could've used some improvement, I'm just not elaborating - pardon my lazy].

[Semi] Long story short: nice product, but I think with more effort next season you could come up with something better.

Good luck!

Work on transitions, shot variety, and music matching. At LEAST music matching so that even if all your video and editing is terrible (not saying the above is) your audience can still listen to a good song. Just my 2 cents.

Also, POW LOOKED SO SICK!
