Salomon vs Salomon

I'm getting a pair of new bindings and i've narrowed it down to 2 so you guys tell me which is better.

Salomon s912s (with Spheric technology) or rossi free 120 (with T-plate technology)

Please help me. Has anyone had bad/good experiences with either?

You'll see my opinions in other threads, but the rossi/looks have been pulling out of skis the last few seasons, since Rossi came out with their binding-specific race plates on their race skis. The screws just don't hold in a regular ski construction or something, they seem to be designed to hold into the plate. On top of that, their mounting pattern is about half as wide as the Salomon, thus a lot more leverage on a lot smaller area. And the Salomon has a 5 year warranty: the Rossi has a 1 year warranty. Seems like a pretty simple choice, even assuming your pair would NOT break. Breakage has been about 3-5% or so (estimation).

I run the 912 Ti PE2 on my 1260s, Crossmax 10s, and Line Ostnesses. If you're smaller, look at the 810 Ti, goes to 10 DIN setting and it's lighter and cheaper.

the guy above me knows what he is talking about, but i have seen a few people with this year's line of salomon bindings, that are having problems left and right, wing adjustments won't stay tight, pre-releasing left and right, couple other problems, this is 3 or 4 different model of bindings too...so if you can get a pair of last year's 912's, i rode them last year, they never caused me problems

The problem salomons are the S810s and other lower models... go for the 912 Tis fo sho... the regular 912s or 914s are too heavy...
