Salomon Thruster Size

I'm lookin' at a pair of 08' Salomon Thrusters, cause they're $300. But they only come in 161cm or 181cm.

I'm 5'10 and I weigh 130lbs. I would be using these skiis almost exclusively for the park, and groomers, maybe occasional moguls. Would either of those sizes be good for me?

If not what do you guys think of the Volkl Wall? Cause I can get those for $350, and in 169cm, or 177cm.

Thanks for the help.

deff 181 ur deff a bit skinny but there a fairly soft ski so u should be fine, just maybe mount them a little forward from reccomended

I'm kinda new to freestyle, so this might be a dumb question, but isn't 181 a bit long? I've heard shorter skis let you spin easier and jib easier.

I like a longer ski personally, but I don't wan't it to be clumsy. What do you guys ride?

nah longer skis are better for the most part. more stability, better switch. they might feel long at first but as soon as u get used to it its much better.

Ya, I just found out Evo won't ship Salomon skis to Canada, so if I buy ski's there I'll grab the 177 Walls, which are still expensive with like, $50 bucks of shipping and then Tarrifs and crap.

Will the Walls be good for a beginner?

Walls would be really good park skis, well, that is what they're meant for. The fact that you're a beginner won't really matter.
