Salomon thruster center mount

I just got a pair of thrusters (last seasons) and I asked the local ski shop to "center mount them". When I got them back, They were, without a doubt, not in the center. Now I live in NJ so there is no such thing as back country and powder where i live. So I ski the park 98% of the time. So am I really missing out on my ski's full potential? Should I get it moutned true center? And if so, how, because the local ski shop said they couldn't do it because of liability issues... I think thats a load of BS.

Thanks for any help!

You should have drew a line where you wanted them mounted. Liability sounds like a bunch of bs becasue tons of people get their skis center-mounted. Take them to a diff. store if you really dont like the mounting point. How far back from center is it?

there was a small circle indented into the ski where they mounted them, they said it was the "progressive position". THey should have asked me before they did it cause I said CENTER mount. I will take them to another store, and they are more than a few centimeters from the center. There is a +2 mark, but i dont think thats the center.
