I just got some and now im hearing people talking about how they are basically falling apart. What exactly is happening like is it just in one spot or are they just falling apart all over
 
delamination and edge pullouts mostly. the only thing you can do to prevent edge pullouts is to detune them so they do not catch on rails and pullout. you do this with a file or take them to a ski shop and they should be able to help you out. dont detune all of the ski's edges, just about a foot in a half underfoot.
 
i have them..... they are delaming, spitting in the tail, debasing, and edges are pulling out..... they suck dick
 
wow. i've said this way too much... but i've lost a lot of respect for salomon and their products this year due to: physical problems (edges, delams), warranty issues (who can't back up their own products?), and claiming that this year's skis would be amazing last year...

anyway, i'm definitely reconsidering ever buying salomon skis...
 
My shop has seen 4 pairs come back within like the last month. They all have been warrientied by salomon, so at least they are standing behind their product.
 
I was just looking at mine and i noticed to top sheet is starting to come apart if i take them to my shop will they be able to do anything?
