Salomon suspects

alright I know that I have been asking about skis a lot but my friend is wondering what you guys think of the new salomon suspects
 
Last years had VERY mixed reviews, lots of people were experiencing major problems (edges that ripped out pulling the entire base with it, snapping, ect.) but a lot of people LOVED them (those whose didn't break I'd guess). This year they supposedly fixed those problems, but I'm not really convinced till I see it in action without destroying itself.
All in all, if it doesn't break it's supposedly a REALLY good ski (and I believe that), but unless the problems were really fixed I'm not sold...yet.
 
does anyone find that the suspects are a maad slow ski as well? Maybe it's because they don't have that black race base but they just don't go fast imo. Thoughts?
 
they have the wrong or no wax on them.
but yeah i had them they broke but before they broke they were super fun good ski if they could last i would get another pair for sure
 
my friend who has a pair always bitches about them being slow. his first pair lasted almost a month, he got a warranty and now hes on his second. we talked to a kid at mt. snow today who said this was his 4th pair this year.
 
i have this years suspects, ill tell u whats hood.

first of all, im really feeling the wood core. i liked the foam cores, but they tend to feel kind of lifeless, nawmean?

the skis have a ton of life and are super responsive everywhere; from nollies to laying down hard on groomers haha. they just have that snap, you know? i can pop 5s off little bumps no problem.

hahaha ummm...i lost my train of thought, but they are a super fun ski for sure
 
i love my suspects. no matter what people say about the durability they are a dope ski. and the durability probles from what i have heard have been fixed
 
some people like them a lot dont. i heard a lot of people complaining about edges blowing out once they hit rails. good luck if you get them

dont buy em.

not worth it

mine blew out on me just the other day

no warning signs, no significant thing that caused it... just poof. 600 bucks gone.
 
i have them , i like how they ride alot , so far so good, i ride 100% park to, there fast and a really fun ski, i did already rip edge out but seeing i hit rails so much its gunna happen
