Salomon Suspect vs. Moment Reno Jib

I'm narrowed down to these two skis, and im wondering which one better suits me. I'm 5'11" 146 pounds, i ski mostly park and jumps, im on the east coast in ny. and im looking for a light poppy, durable, ski.

I would go with the moments and support a small company. Plus I been hearing the Jibs are pretty badass.

moments are pretttty stiff, so if you're skiing ice coast conditions those would be good...the suspects look sick as well though (possibly a little bit heavier than the moments?)

i have the jibs and they are by far the best ski ive ever ridden, they are definitely lighter than the suspects and probably a little more poppy, although i cant say for sure since ive never ridden the suspects. either ski would be a really good choice but i recommend the jibs

I"M SO TIRED OF THESE LAME ASS COMMENTS....

I would go with the Salomon Suspects and support THE company that 1st supported freestyle skiing.

It's the 10th year of the 1080 and I can't beleive we still have to read these comments...

To everyone who has the jibs here... I just want to know, how are your top sheets doing? They're fucking dope skis though, really fun to ride.

well hop off of salomons dick for a moment and think about moment? salomon has been selling skis for decades- they don't need the money and support. moment is only a few years old and by supporting them you're bringing a new company into the sport.

but yeah either way they're both sick skis, i'd just go with moment

i would go with the moment jibs, and not because 'moment is a small company or whatever'. If its a pure park ski you want to mount true centre. The jibs are symmetrical and so ski best at true, the suspects are not and so will ski less well centre mounted than the jibs (not saying they will be bad but just less good). The jibs are also significantly lighter and have wider edges (yeh suspects have edge armour but i'm not convinced that helps). My opinion is that the Jib is a better pure park ski, and that is why I bought them.

Suspects have the edge armor and it totally works... I saw Alexis skis and he's been on Suspect for a full year now... it's no jimmick.

Also the Suspect, Mai Tai's and Dumont all have thicker edges.

Moments for sure.

And you have to look at which is the more known company,Salomon or Moment? Hmmmmmmmmm

I say go for the ski thats super sick, not too stiff, symetrical, poppy and that nobody has, I live in Alberta and ive honestly seen 1 pair of reno jibs, and ive already seen like 10 pairs of suspects on opening weekend, but if you dont care about popularity and being original,go for salomon, but their sooo stiff as well.Moments hands down.

the jibs are just as expensive as the suspects man maybe 50 bucks more i got jibs this year a lot stiffer than i though they were gona be well their not broken in 100 percent either, great companie but ut pretty light maybe suspects love my jibs though

idk if the jibs are th rockered ones, i demoed a pair of them in 181, in 5'10" and 140ish, they were like skiing 2x4's, i couldnt butter them, they were a bit longer than i woud want, but i couldnt get them to butter, but tehy popped so much nicer than my walls, and they are a pretty poppy ski. and the renos were stiffer than my walls too
