Salomon Sth2 WTR Feedback

Just curious if anyone has any days on the hill with these bindings and what you think of them? I found one review on TGR, but I'd like to find some more feedback. Shop employee opinions would be great as well. Thanks.

The "new" brakes are a lot more solid than the old ones, and they have a wider mounting platform, whats not to like?

To be honest I could not feel the difference when riding them, but in the long term they should be more solid!

And the Atomic STH2 WTR 16 looks so great!

As far as difference between these and last years is a few things to look at.

WTR is "walk to ride", so they've made the binding more compatible with boots that have touring inserts.

As well, the heel is based of the Guardian, and with my experience with the Guardian has shown that it feels much more secure.

STH has a fair amount of play in the heel, the new heel should prove better for durability.

^Good to know there should be less play with the Guardian heel piece. I bought these the other day to get mounted on some new skis. They seem like they're going to be a solid binding.
