Salomon Spk's or Full TIlt Help !!!

I go like 30 to 40 times a year skiing and i need a amazing park boot tht is durable but yet stops chin bang and toe problems and tht it also good for all mountain (sometimes) and i wanna spend the most 250 help pleasee

well 250 won't buy you either of those...you don't need a "park boot" to do well in the park, just go get fitted and tell them that you ski park. those boots fit completely different and neither of them will be right for you if you don't get them fitted and customized...so just go get fitted.

yeah, chin bang from boots sucks.

but for real, come on man. I know you are new but search around a little bit before making threads.

u must have some really soft boots if your banging your chin off anything but seriously use the search bar then save more money and go get fitted

for 250 your going to have to wait for stuff to go on sale over the summer on rando websites. Keep an eye on google shopping for a decent deal. I got a previous years spk pros for 350 late in last summer.

On what to get specifically: only get those boots if you ski 100.000% park. I regret getting my spks... they are too damn noodley for any skiing outside of the park. Don't get me wrong tho, the spks are great for park with the gel heel and all the rest. And the park boots by full tilt, from what I understand, aren't much better for ski-skiing. Consider dalbello (really similar to full tilts but better quality IMO) or possibly some nordicas.

if your going to be riding park a lot and don't do backcountry i would recommend the SPK... it has tow dampeners that really prevent your toe nails from falling off and the gel in the heel lets you over shot or knuckle jumps without having to be done for and hour because of pain...best park boot on the market..

See here lies the beauty of ski boots, everyone will like something different. The LAST boot id want to wear is a SPK, its just too damn wide and whored out. I have a narrow foot so FTs, Dalbellos and race boots in general fit me best. I ride lange comp 120s and I love them more than my old FTs and kryptons.

SPKs here. Great affordable boot. Super comfortable and quick to put on. My one-boot quiver :-p SPKs have a 104mm last (width), compared to the 98mm of the FT, so the SPKs are better for wider feet.

or, instead of us recommending you boots without ever seeing your foot shape, you could go get fitted by a professional and buy boots that actually fit your feet, keep you comfy and warm, and maximize your skiing performance. but if you really want to buy boots that don't fit and hurt your feet that make your skiing worse, be my guest.

not trying to be a douche, really, it's just that there are so many threads on here of people asking which boots to get without ever being fitted. i did this too, and it sucked, i was stuck in boots 2 sizes to big that were way to wide and they caused the worst foot and shin pain. so go to a fitter and find out which boots you should get. if you still have questions, such as they suggested two boots that fit well and you want to know opinions of others, MAYBE you then come here and make a thread comparing boots. but until then, please, go to a fitter and get the boots that your feet will love. your feet will thank you, and you will thank me, i hope. anyway good luck with the search, i hope you find the boots you like.

Shin bang comes from boots not fitting properly.

How bout you go to fitter. SPKs fit like buckets, FTs fit like ballerina slippers. COMPLETELY different boot shape.

It's impossible to be able to fit into both boots.

Whatever boot fits is the boot you buy.

That being said, I have SPKs and LOVE them.

i have full tilt hot doggers, love them! except the buckles breaking, my friend has spk's and he gets mad shin bang, mainly due to poor fitting.. but if your only willing to pay 250 you should lower your standerds.

go to a boot fitter you can't tell what boot will work until it's on your footbut i can tell you that you wont find much new for under 250
