Honestly it is all I really know. I started riding the original SPK (white one with black tongue) the year it came out 2005/2006? At the time it was game changing. I dealt with serious shin-bang b4 i switched to the SPK, and then all of a sudden it was not an issue. In a time when there was no full tilts or park type boots, that original SPK was game changing. It had a slightly more upright stance, compared to other boots I'd experienced.
A few years and SPK models later, I got my second pairs of SPK's. (2011 maybe?) I can't recall the exact model (got um in my closet still) but these ones had one of the Greatest features to ever grace a ski boot. THE RUBBER TOE. The rubber toe piece was amazing! NO MORE TOE BANG, NO MORE TOE NAIL ISSUES. I really would like to know why this feature was discontinued??
WHY NO MORE RUBBER TOE???
Unfortunately I somehow managed to crack those second pair of SPK shells after some 7-8 years of use, which led me to Purchase the Salomon Ghost in the fall of 2018, which I still ski as my only boot.
I am strongly considering trying Full Tilt for my next boot after trying some on at a local shop a few months ago, but it is so hard to leave a boot you know and trust.
WHY NO MORE RUBBER TOES on SPKS/GHOSTS?????
I can try and post pics of them all if anyone is interested.

14108720:toast said:I got no forsure idea but I think the Raichle was out of production for a number of years before Full Tilt bought that mold or trademark or whatever. So even though the FT mold is old as hell there were a number of years in the 2000s that I don't think that boot was in production
