Salomon skis were better without edge armor

this years salomon skis were supposed to be the best not breakable skis but within a month of skiing my double edge armored skis are down to the wood core and now I'm grinding wood. Last years salomon skis lasted november to early march before my edges started cracking and falling out. Even the top-sheets on this years Dumont's and suspects are falling apart in the first few sessions. not feelin the 2008/ 2009 salomons. anyone else with problems?
 
08 Salomons are crappy, Im glad I got 08 thrusters, all the kids I know with 09s they broke. Threats break on your first run.
 
yup i've seen threats fall apart this year. i'm convinced salomon had it down with the 2008 dumont. everyone loved that ski and they weren't breaking, idk y they changed this year.
 
He meant to say that 09's are crappy.

I ski 08 dumonts and they are amazing skis, I love them so much, perfect ski. there is a kid on suspects at my hill and a guy with 09 dumonts and both those seem to be doing fine.....
 
there was no need for that, not even in good context. you should probably go kill yourself right now. its just getting fucking old
 
nooooo way.... i highly doubt that, otherwise i could just trash my skis on rails and stuff and get a free pair...
 
my suspects have two misssing edges and are starting to chip. salomons definition of warranty is a manufacture defect, so hitting rails voids that( as i was told by salomon reps)
 
Im pretty sure that most of you on here dont know anything. Why would salomon release shitty skis? Think through before you post. Honestly its not like the build a ski and not test it.
 
threats are by far the shittiest ski ever created, my friend broke the tip off of his the other day going through the glades. he hit a rock, the edge split, the whole tip is crack all the way across, the ptex is every cracked, and fucked up in the tip. oh and by the way, i hit the same rock with my chronics and only a little scratch on the bottoms. made in china isnt looking to bad now is it?
 
my supects have not really held up well either. I had one pari warantied earlier in the year and my second pair the edges are already falling out.
 
All about the 07 Thrusters. Plus you get the worst graphic ever put on a ski. I do like mine quite a bit though, versatile as hell for a park ski and they buttah so smooooth.

Wow, those skis got owned, ridiculous blowout. It's really a shame if this is happening alot with their skis, you'd think it might send some sort of message...
 
bump..........people should see what theyre getting into when they purchase a pair of skis from salomon that cost up to 1000 after putting bindings on.
 
those are just a few more pictures i have to resize the others so they'll fit....please bump if ur not feeling the new salomon park skis
 
i have heard this multiple times about the top sheet and edges falling off and cracking and then salomon not warrantying it because they were skied to hard ect. imo thats bullshit but damn what did you do with your skis jump through fire rings?
 
This is somewhat like LINE a few years back. I think. Except LINE was taking back all those skis and actually warrantying them. 600 smackers for Suspects. Such bullshit. An Invader is half that and twice as good.
 
exactly what i thought... unless they are cap skis that is not a problem, the thing is, this years dumont is not a cap ski.

thats just a ghey rant on how your skis look after actually using them!
