Salomon skis? Need Help

Im looking for a new pair of skis and i just got in touch with a salomon rep, he told me he can hook me up with a cheap pair. What skis should i look into? I currently ski k2 PE's 05 06 the uglyass ones (black white red) I cant stand them, they're too stiff and boring, I am looking for something i can center mount. I used to ride the old salomon 1080 spaceframe way back (lime green)

Oh and should I go with salomon bindings? Because I know how shitty they used to be. Are they any better?
 
I'd say go with the new thrusters. As for bindings, they're not as shitty anymore, if its all you can afford then go for it.
 
I have Dumont's with the STH 16. Its a sick setup but next years skis are completely different I would wait till next years gear comes out. They have true sidewalls no more cap skis and have reinforced kevlar strips next to the edges so u don't bust them.
 
thruster or dumont and get a binding from salomon as long as the din is 14 or over...but then again i herd the stp 12 is solid...id get the stp 12 or 16
 
if i were you i would get thrusters, the dumonts are preaty stiff, their good for pipe but the thrusters are better for every thing else
 
i have the dumonts with sth 16's, its a great set up.the dumonts are a great ski too. they're slightly stiffer than the thrusters which gives them a little more stability at speed and a little better all mtn performance but you can still butter them like toast. and the sth 16 is a super sick binding
